Aston Martin Servicing
To keep your Aston Martin in perfect running condition regular servicing is paramount, certain components require replacement at specified intervals as well as checking various components lubricating and topping up of levels. When we carry out a service on an Aston martin we follow Aston Martin recommended schedules, We use genuine parts. We take great pride in the work we carry out, We do not carry out any additional repairs without authorisation, you will always be kept informed of how long we will require your vehicle, you will also be kept informed of all pricing before any work is carried out. Any faults or advisories found during a service will be fully reported and explained if you are at our premises you will be invited to review the report and shown the affected items, If you have left the vehicle with us we can either email images to you or alternatively we can send pictures to your mobile so that you can review the items or take further advise or obtain alternative quotations, With advisories we will give an estimate of time or mileage as to when we believe that the repairs will be required. We are always available to discuss your requirements.
What is required and when
The following items are an overview as to what is required and replaced at each service interval, they are not inclusive of what is actually required, average service times are usually around four to five hours but do vary depending on which service is required,
Aston Martin V8 Vantage service schedule (every 10000 miles or 12 month's)

Aston Martin DB9 service schedule (every 10000 miles or 12 month's)

DB7 and Vanquish service schedules (every 7500 miles or 6 months- low mileage vehicles usually have a yearly service) note if your vehicle is covered under a warranty, even if it is has low mileage usage you may still need to have six monthly servicing to comply with the warranty, you will need to check with your warranty company,

We also include varies items when carrying out a service that are not in the schedule at no extra cost, items such as repainting the the brake hubs on the DB9 and V8 Vantage which is a common complaint of looking rusty, bleeding the asm slave cylinder on the vanquish and a clutch learn procedure, as well as rectifying minor leaks on the asm unit which if left can lead to major expense and problems later, decorking of the exhaust is carried out foc if requested, and items like configuring power fold mirrors to auto fold when locking the car, the automatic checking and retightening of sump and front cover bolts, so that oil leaks are prevented rather than having to be rectified later, this is a sample of the extras you can expect, This extra items have been highlighted by customer request and our experience,

Will using us for servicing affect your resale value
This is a very difficult question and one with two schools of thought , with our policy of being open and honest I will list both as it is a personal choice as to where your car is serviced, there will always be those when buying an Aston who will only want a full dealer service history, this is a fact and has to be taken into consideration, with this in mind we are always happy to recommend certain Dealers around the country, This is not to say that the one's we do not recommend are in any way substandard, but when we have reports of excellent service we will pas it on, Okay the second school of thought is that if the independent Aston Martin specialist is easily researched and respected the buyer would not be concerned and in some instances considered a plus, As an extra note this was asked on one of the Aston Martin forums here is the link, If you have questions or queries let us know we will always endeavour to give you an honest answer,
Why are we so much cheaper than the dealer network
This is really easy to answer s we do not have the overheads of the dealer network, we calculate each service price on genuine Aston Martin parts, the recommended lubricants and the Aston Martin specified labour times, Just because we are cheaper does not mean the quality of or work is compromised, that we do not take at least the same care, or that we are less trained, We take immense pride in our reputation and our level of customer care, we aim at a minimum to match the Level of skill and customer experience of the dealer network but we do aim to be better,
Our Service Stamp
Obviously we do not have a direct affiliation with Aston Martin, and as we are an independent specialist we can not use the Aston Martin approved stamp in your service book, We do stamp your service book and our stamp clearly states we are an Aston Martin specialist,
Your Aston Martin Warranty
Under a European law called block exemption you can have your car serviced and repaired by anyone it's your choice and by doing this it will not effect your warranty, there are some rules we must follow, for more details see our dedicated page on this law, As Aston Martin are a very specialised car we do recommend using the dealer or a specialist like ourselves as special tools and equipment are required.
